Help with splitting property and finances in divorce
It is essential to deal with financial issues on divorce as unless you have a legally binding court order, it will be open to your former spouse to make a claim against you long into the future, even after you are divorced.
We can work with you to try and come to a negotiated agreement with your spouse over splitting property and finances. We are generally able to resolve matters without the need for a hearing, but should your case be contested, we will put together a strong case on your behalf and ensure you have expert representation.
If we are able to reach an amicable settlement, we will ask the court to seal this in a consent order, making it legally binding.
Making arrangements for children in divorce
