John specialises in residential conveyancing and property-related matters and can advise on a range of issues, including boundary disputes, rights of way problems and restrictive covenants. He also handles commercial property transactions, including factories, warehouses, offices, and shops on both freehold and leasehold titles and is well known to the local business community.

John graduated from The University of London (Queen Mary College) in 1978 and qualified as a solicitor in 1981 after training in The City. He joined Charles Coleman LLP Solicitors in 1981 and has been a partner since 1984. Since April 2024, he has been a Consultant with the firm.

John is married to Clare, and they have a grown-up son, daughter and first grandson. He is enthusiastic about sports in general and rugby in particular. John supports England Rugby and Windsor Rugby Football Club.
